Hi! I have lived in the Triangle for a little over seven years (as of this writing), and I've been immersed in the local arts scene from the beginning of my time here - I moved to NC to work for the United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County, and after nearly four years there, I accepted a position with PineCone-the Piedmont Council of Traditional Music, a nonprofit based in Raleigh with a mission to preserve, present, and promote traditional music, dance, and other folk performing arts in the Piedmont (of which the Triangle is a part). When I'm not attending concerts for work, I try to get to some for pleasure - the Triangle has an amazing music scene, and a vibrant arts scene in general! I also enjoy being outside, dancing, and exploring; I am looking forward to sharing what I know about the Triangle and learning from everyone else in the community.
