Hello, my name is Denise Tawwab. I am the founder of a local non-profit called NC Connected. We teach web design/programming to kids (primarily girls) from at-risk communities across the state.
I am also a WordPress developer, consultant, trainer and blogger. I build websites and collaborate with other web professionals to keep my skills current so that NC Connected's courses always teach skills that the job market is actively buying.
My passion is leveraging open-source technologies and the power of the internet to positively impact women, children, and under served communities. The Triangle Wiki project is just the kind of effort that I'm excited to be a part of. Over the next several months, I will be working with a group of NC Connected students to add lots of pages to this awesome community resource.
