Aditya "Adi" Sathi was the executive director of the Association of Big Ten Students for the 2013-14 term. During his time with ABTS, he was was recognized by Red Alert Politics on their 2014 30 Under 30 list. He was previously the treasurer of the Student Association of Michigan for the 2012-13 term. He was also the vice speaker of the Central Student Government Assembly from 2011-12. Sathi ran for CSG president in March 2012 with MForward but lost. He and his running mate, Louis Mirante, garnered 1,353 votes out of 7,932 total votes (or 17.1 percent) cast in the presidential election, putting them in third place. Sathi advocated heavily for Medical Amnesty — which was signed into law statewide on May 8 —  in both CSG and SAM. Sathi penned the initial CSG Assembly resolution in January 2012 to support Medical Amnesty. Sathi transferred to the University of Michigan from Wayne State University.
