The Ann Arbor Mini Maker Faire is organized by community members each year. Through local sponsorship, the faire is free to participants. The faire has been organized since 2009 with continued sponsorship and organization support from Maker Work and A2Geeks.
At some point the name changed, and the 2023 event was the Ann Arbor Creativity and Making Expo or AACME, held May 6, 2023 at the Ann Arbor District Library downtown branch.
