Age 60, died August 7, 2007 in the comfort of her Northville home. Survived by her husband Roy H. Link. Caring mother of Carrie, Matthew, and Adam Link. Daughter of the late George and Isabel Airey of Ann Arbor. George was the founder of Airey Building Company in Ann Arbor. Sister of Aleyn Airey Neely and the late George V. A 1969 alum of Michigan State University, with a degree in Social Work and a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority. Married her husband, Roy, in 1969. A role model to us all, in every aspect of her life. A true hero and inspiration to her family and friends, she found a way to touch the heart of every person she came in touch with. When she committed to something, she did it with every ounce of her love and compassion, and there was nothing she was more committed to than her family and friends. Funeral service Saturday 10:30 a.m. at the Northrop-Sassaman Funeral Home, 19091 Northville Rd., at the intersection of Seven Mile Rd and Northville Rd. Visitation Friday Noon-9:00 p.m. at the Northrop-Sassaman Funeral Home, and again Saturday 9:30-10:30 a.m. Reception Saturday following the service, held at The Inn at St. John's in Plymouth, at the intersection of Five Mile Rd and Sheldon Rd. Family requests that in lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a donation in memory of Dawn to the American Cancer Society toward the fight for Colorectal Cancer.
