Forbidden City Chinese restaurant at 3535 Plymouth Road, now closed.
October 22, 2010: Maura Thomson, MSAA Executive Director, & Lisa Bee, Owner of Sweetwater’s Coffee & Tea – Lisa and her husband, Wei, started Sweetwaters 17 years ago, and now are the franchisors for two additional Ann Arbor stores as well. They both come from a family of restauranteurs, with Wei’s family formerly owning the Forbidden City restaurants.
