The Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society Inc. is an all-volunteer award-winning organization dedicated to preserving, displaying, and operating historical railroad equipment relevant to the steam era in the midwest.

The society operates a steam engine, Nickel Plate 765, which periodically goes through Ann Arbor on its way to train shows in Owosso.
