Gaia Center is situated amid 800 private acres of verdant land - a mix of meadows, wetlands, woodlands, farmland, pine stands, ponds and brooks. The land is alive with songbirds and hawks, frogs, toads, and butterflies, herons, cranes, deer, coyote, various furry critters, and many dozens of native medicinal and wild edible plants and trees. There are several botanical sanctuaries (gardens and cultivated areas) including a 33 foot Medicine Wheel herb garden nestled behind a stand of pines , overlooking a meadow to the south. This private, quiet setting deeply supports the learning process on the mental, emotional, physical and subtle energy level.
