Growing Hope is a non-profit organization based in Ypsilanti dedicated to helping people improve their lives through gardening and increasing access to healthy food. Growing Hope works with groups around Washtenaw County interested in starting neighborhood gardens or school gardens, teaches cooking and nutrition workshops, builds and sells raised bed gardens, rain barrels, and other gardening supplies through their YpsiPlanti Garden Supply Center. In 2006, they founded Downtown Ypsilanti Farmers Market in downtown Ypsilanti to increase healthy food access and contribute to community revitalization. Since 2013, they have also run the Saturday Farmers Market in Depot Town. In 2015 they began a capital campaign to build a permanent year-round, indoor-outdoor space for the downtown market, The Ypsilanti Farmers MarketPlace.

Growing Hope's headquarters, theGrowing Hope Center is located at 922 West Michigan Avenue, just blocks from downtown Ypsilanti. The site also houses their demonstration and production urban farm.  In addition to demonstration and educational gardens for all ages, a 30 x 96 foot hoophouse is one of the highlights.

Growing Hope's Growing Gardens encompasses its gardening programs and serves as an entry point to its other training and resources programs. Organizations who are starting or have an existing school, community, or congregational garden can join as a group, and individuals or households can join as individual members.

Among the garden programs and workshops that Growing Gardens members can access, Growing Hope runs a garden leadership training to aid groups in starting new gardens or expanding or reinvigorating existing ones. Through their Home Vegetable Garden Program Growing Hope installs raised bed vegetable gardens in the homes of families in need of food assistance, and gives resources and support throughout the growing season, including free membership in the Growing Gardens Program.

Growing Hope also maintains a list of local gardens as a resource to the community.
