Jenny's farm market just outside of Dexter is a good one. They are not a mill, but have cider, donuts, a small maze for children, a petting zoo of baby farm animals, and sometimes pony's to ride. It's small, not too commercial, and friendly. They're on the road leading out of Dexter towards Pinckney, under the one-lane train tunnel - Island Lake Road. http://www.jennysdextermarket.com/ This one is my favorite over the Dexter Cider Mill - more stuff and more farm-like. -Helene

We stopped by Jenny's Dexter Market to buy some stuff and see the horses. I had NO idea I was going to come away on a beautiful day feeling attacked and shaken. While waiting for a family member, I sat down near the horses that pull the hayride wagons. I noticed one of the horses harnessed to a wagon had a bleeding wound on its rear left foot, and it looked like the horse was in some pain due to the fact that it kept raising the wounded-looking foot up every now and then and didn't seem to want to put any weight on it. I asked a man passing me that looked like he might work there if he knew that one of the horses had an injury. The man, that identified himself as the owner to me, IMMEDIATELY raised his voice and began berating me. (one star review; "where is the negative star?")
