Len Coombs is acquisitions archivist at the Bentley Historical Library, responsible for building the library's collections documenting the history of Michigan's people and institutions. He graduated from the predecessor of the University of Michigan School of Information in 1978, worked two years as a genealogy reference librarian at the Indiana State Library, then returned to Ann Arbor to work at the Bentley Library. He has had various responsibilities over the years, and has been in charge of acquisitions since 2002.
