MiRobotClub (MiRC) is the robotics club formerly known as YAAARC (Ypsilanti - Ann Arbor Area Robotics Club). Though we still holler YAAARC!!! - The sound you make as your robot drives off the edge of the workbench.
FREE to attend. It meets 7-9pm on the 4th Wednesday of most months at Maker Works, 3765 Plaza Dr., Ann Arbor, MI 48108. (November and/or December meetings are sometimes moved to another Wednesday, should it fall too near a holiday.) Adults, and minors with a supervising adult are all welcome.
A place for robot enthusiasts to meet, we provide: a free Beginner's Class in robotics to get you started, an Advanced Topics Lecture, and a Show & Tell period at most meetings. We also host the MiRC Arena, where member's hacked toys and DIY robots may challenge others, or run a performance challenge for time.
