After a brief closing, the Milan Bakery, 42 E. Main St., will re-open on July 8, owner LeAnn Martin said. Martin and partner Linda Ohl set up shop earlier this year but had to temporarily close for restructuring, Martin said. Presently, she will run the operation with the help of family and friends with additional staff added as soon as possible.

MILAN — The Milan Bakery, 42 E. Main St., closed its doors for the second time in recent months on Monday. The closing came as a surprise to co-owner LeeAnn Martin and some employees who received text messages not to report to work on from owner Linda Ohl stating the business had been closed. Ohl was not available for comment.

Less than two weeks after closing its doors, the Milan Bakery is reopening. Owner David Snyder said the business would reopen Tuesday. The business closed suddenly Sept. 20 and there was concern about its fate and that of the employees.
