New Jerusalem Baptist Church is located at 409 South Adams Street in Ypsilanti. It is led by pastor Reverend Dr. William J. Aplin, Sr.
The church was organized and founded on March 13, 1970 with a group of six people. The first service as a church was held at Perry Elementary School, Ypsilanti, MI under the leadership of Reverend RC Crenshaw.
