New Life Church is a nondenominational evangelical Christian church whose members worship in a converted sorority house on Washtenaw Avenue. Regular attendance can be estimated to be between 600 and 1200 on any given Sunday. Attendees are encouraged to participate in weekly “life groups,” small peer-led discipleship groups whose meetings include prayer, Bible study, and mutual encouragement and emotional support.
