The Earle is an upscale restaurant featuring French and Italian country cooking, located in downtown Ann Arbor. There is a wine bar (with Happy Hour 5-8 pm Monday-Friday), and sidewalk dining when weather permits. The menu changes seasonally; appetizers are $9.00-$11.00, entrees $20.00-$30.00, pasta entrees $17.00-$20.00 (see webpage for current menu http://www.theearle.com/menu/default.htm ).

Ambiance is romantic (read "dimly lit," with cozy booths). Live music is performed in the main dining area some evenings. There is a birthday special on the exact day of your birthday--1/{number of guests dining} off the FOOD portion of your bill (or 1/2 off if dining alone)
