Timeline: The Melting Pot

November 16, 2015. Downtown Ann Arbor restuarant closes without notice to staff, Ann Arbor News. ""The Ann Arbor location of leading fondue restaurant franchise The Melting Pot has closed for business indefinitely as of Nov. 16 as the local owner decided to sell the business for redevelopment," the statement reads."

Remember what the Improv Inferno used to look like, with its flame-colored walls and bar?

Its old space looks drastically different now.

The Melting Pot fondue chain finally opened there last month, at 309 S. Main St. in downtown Ann Arbor after a long delay. The interior has been broken up into several smaller rooms and private booths, all decorated with dark wood, granite and rich brown and blue tones.

The Melting Pot is now open at 309 S. Main Street in Ann Arbor. They offer two, three, and four course meals and have monthly events such as ladies night. Join them for an experience that will "melt" you away seven days a week. Manager Jon Decker said " The Melting Pot is a place to come and celebrate everything in your life, we make special occasions even more special."
