Since 1962, "The Lair" has been a favorite hangout at Cal. In the past, The Bear's Lair has been rated as one of the "Top 25 Sports Bars in America by Sports Illustrated," chosen as Playboy's "College Bar of the Month" and rated in the "Top 10 College Bars by Sports Illustrated!"
All are welcome at The Lair, and you'll see students, professors, visiting scholars and the usual gang of regulars hanging out and sharing the good times!
The Bear's Lair is known for it's Friday "Beat the Clock" special where select pitchers start at $6 at 4PM every Friday and increase $1 every hour.
