Art Around Town

There is an Andrew Carson sculpture located in front of the entrance to the Canton Public Library. It was installed in 2007 in memory of John Schwartz, one of the founding members of the Library board.

The 2008 Leadership Canton class organized a series of sculptures displayed as public art in celebration of that year's USBC National Women’s Bowling tournament which took place in Canton. The project was called Pins on Parade and consisted of 16 five-foot-tall bowling pins which were decorated by local artists and displayed at major intersections during the spring of 2008. The Canton DDA Board provided funding, which was supplemented by sponsorships from local businesses and community organizations. At last report, the pins were in DDA storage.
