What major things happened in Chico in 2008? What were the trends? Have you noticed any peculiar ones? See 2007 and 2009.

It appeared as if 2008 was the year of the Tatto Parlors with at least three new ones opening downtown and more opening all over town. This is continuing into 2009.
In December, downtown began to brim with choices of Mediterranean restaurants with newcomers Broadway St. Market & Deli and Petra Mediterranean Cuisine. Of course the old stand-by, Sultan's Bistro, still exists in the Phoenix Building, complete with Belly Dancers.
