Broadway Heights (formerly Jasco's) is a restaurant located in downtown that serves California cuisine style food. They are located upstairs in the Phoenix Building in the location formerly occupied by Jasco's. In fact, they are quite similar to their predecessor in terms of the menu and ambiance. Very little changed on a superficial level when the name of the restaurant changed. The restaurant is quite spacious and takes most of the second floor of the Phoenix Building on Broadway.

The menu might be a bit pricier than some of the other offerings in the area at $16 for a dinner plate. However their focaccia sandwiches can be ordered full or half and run from $8 to $10. Broadway Heights (and Jasco's before that) is known for their freshly made focaccia bread and dinners do come with a few slices.

Broadway Heights have home-made desserts for those that save room.

2008-08-08 14:43:53   We were very pleasantly surprised with a much better than average meal for quite reasonable prices. —216.136.25.72

2008-11-01 17:44:57   I love the garlic tomato soup that they serve! That and a half-sandwich, and I'm set for lunch. —DavidStillman

2009-04-06 11:39:43   The thai chicken sandwich is great. Just the right amount of spice without being too hot. We often only visit Broadway Heights on a rare occassion, making it something special each time we visit! —198.69.249.54

2009-05-28 20:33:39   I had the Cordon Bleu which I thought was pretty tasty and it filled me up (an important metric to be sure!). Two others that joined along had the Chicken Parmesan and thought it was okay. We all loved their garlic mashed potatoes and focaccia. I enjoyed the steamed vegetables as they were still quite crisp and flavorful. Service was not so good as we were ignored for tea refills until our plates were empty. And when we did get tea, there wasn't any ice. That's not so good in a place that, by its nature being on the second floor, cannot keep cool easily. So it was just an okay experience and could have been made better with attentive service. The full order sandwiches look gigantic and might be a better deal than the dinners! —RyanMikulovsky

2009-06-05 22:19:09   Broadway Heights is the best place to eat in Chico!! Their sandwiches and salads are delicious and really filling. I've never even looked at the full dinner menu because there are so many good options for sandwiches/salads. —76.105.32.26
