Chada Thai is a Thai restaurant in downtown Chico that will likely not disappoint those seeking the pleasurable endorphin rush of spicy food. Their scale is from 1 to 4, and 4 is "Thai spicy" — making a cold Sierra Nevada Pale Ale or Thai Tea completely necessary in order to finish a plate. They offer a vegetarian menu as well. Try the Tom Kah soup and the peanut sauce. You will not be disappointed!
Here is their to-go menu as of March 3, 2010:

2008-07-18 08:36:28 Great food with a decent sized vegetarian menu. Service is kind of crappy, and they are often rude, but man is that tom kah soup good. —132.241.246.118
2008-08-26 21:13:41 Food is quite good, but the service is surly. —StellaChiara
2008-09-22 22:51:28 Family business, only 1 waitress for about 20 tables. Recommend the Curry Duck. —98.208.84.214
2009-01-05 16:15:58 My favorite restaurant in town. We love the grilled seafood #58 with the green papaya salad #10. You won't be disappointed —99.163.206.17
2009-06-20 10:45:53 Great food. could improve service though. —69.233.69.124
2009-09-15 17:39:06 I ate Chada for the first time at the Taste of Chico, and I really wanted to order some take out, but they have no online menu. I hate when places don't have online menus, they lost my business because of it. —76.105.34.216
- Perhaps a nice Chicoan will one day take digital photos or a scan of their menu and post it here :-) The Chico Wiki is the perfect place for menus. Good luck. —RyanMikulovsky
2009-12-11 21:26:05 Best visited during less busy times, as it is cramped. We were the only ones in at 5:20 on a Friday. Service was minimal; our water glasses remained empty after we drank them. Tasty Thai, but maybe that was the MSG. I called after leaving to ask, and yes, some salads and entrees have MSG unless you ask that it be omitted. At least they were honest about it. —208.106.53.175
2012-02-28 17:18:59 I don't know why people say service is bad. It's great. They are consistent and quick. They don't kiss your ass and act all fake and smily. They work hard and do a great job. I've eaten there at least 20 times in the last 3 years and have always been delighted. —205.155.141.9
