A Day at the Market The Saturday Farmer's Market, unlike the Thursday Night Market, is a year-round event in Chico. That's the former location of a car dealership. It occurs every Saturday morning in the parking lot on the corner of 2nd Street and Wall Street in downtown. Rain or shine, the market is open 7:30am to 1:00pm. Local vendors sell fresh flowers, produce, and other food products. It is generally well attended, although it is not as much of a social event as its Thursday counterpart. It is, however, a great place to get fresh organic fruits and veggies.

Since the market occurs within a popular parking area, be ready to spend a little longer finding a place to park.
