Scrambles is a restaurant located on the corner of East Avenue and Cohasset Road, though its actual location is right off of the latter. In many ways, they are a traditional diner with greasy food. They are open for breakfast and lunch, though their emphasis seems to be much more on breakfast. They offer mostly traditional entrees such as eggs, burgers and some sandwiches. Though their menu is small, they tend to have more spicy food on it then an average diner.

Prices are a tad high (say higher then a place like Denny's) but their proportions are generous, though their customer service leaves something to be longed for.

2010-04-06 13:28:21   They have a coupon on chicocoupons.com but they won't accept it for take out orders. That's fine except that is not noted on the coupon or the website so I didn't appreciate being told once I went there to pick up and pay for my order (how about telling me over the phone when I placed the order?). They do accept competitor coupons though, so I guess I'll have to find their competitors coupon to use for to go orders.

Also, I really like their food, but the last time I went there (to-go order) my tomato-feta-rosemary-mushroom-pesto scramble only had mushrooms and rosemary. I guess they forgot to add my extras and I ordered pumpernickle and they gave me white toast. —68.65.86.2

2011-10-08 19:16:46   i go to scrambles quite often and i absolutely love their food and the uniqueness of their menu , the nterior and the service. i dont know of any restaurants in the chico area that take coupons for to go orders besides sonic or something...being a business owner in the area, these coupons we business owners mail to you is to benefit you, and me . What is it you people want...free food...lets get realistic here. the owner of the restaurant is always donating to the chico area services and even throws christmas parties for the esplanade house and the jesus centers. I really dont appreciate these commments and if you are from out of town or just a local eat at scrambles the best eggs benedict in the area and their chicken fried steak is to die for...try the 5 alarm scramble ...its the best...nice salad bar and you can make your sandwich the way you like and your burger the way you like it and not be charged an arm and a leg...prices are competitive for the food and area —108.201.90.244
