Armadillo Ale Works is Denton's first craft brewery. They currently rent the kitchen in the basement of Andy's Bar to produce their "Prohibition-inspired" craft sodas, including Bees Knees lemonade and Claw Foot Ginger Cream Ale which can be bought in many Denton establishments. In January 2013 Deep Ellum Brewing Company of Dallas announced that they would be partnering with Armadillo Ale Works to assist with brewing space and distribution. Their first public beer offering was the Quakertown Stout, see Quakertown, which debuted at the Oak Street Drafthouse on 3/1/13.
