Allan Gilmour is the outgoing president of Wayne State University. He took the position full-time in 2011, and stepped down at the end of the 2012-2013 academic year when his two year contract expired. He is succeeded by Dr. M. Roy Wilson in the position.

Gilmour retired from Ford Motor Company as Vice Chairman.
