A community-written development plan for the Lower Eastside, roughly bounded by Mt. Elliott, Warren, Outer Drive, and the Detroit River. The area has around 39,000 residents, down from around 60,000 in 2000.

The project comes from three local groups: the Warren-Conner Development Coalition, Jefferson East Business Association and Genesis HOPE Community Development. The project manager is Khalil Ligon. The Erb Foundation and others gave a total of around $300,000 in support. Organizations like Data Driven Detroit and Community Legal Resources worked on the project.

Organizers hope the plan will become part of the Detroit Works Project.
