Roderick Grimes is the Police Chief of the Detroit Public Schools. He was appointed by Robert Bobb in June of 2009.

Chief Grimes is a graduate of Pershing High School, and currently serves on the DPS Heroes Don’t Quit Mentoring Advisory Board.
