2010-09-02 12:09:34   Great location and friendly staff. The people there are helpful and swift with their service. Their pricing is lower by comparison to the Davis storage units. They provide a 10% student discount all storage units. Both owners are patient and will work towards finding exactly what you need. Greg, one of the owners there has a very cheerful personality and loves to show off his garden (love the smell). They were really helpful in showing me units and helping me decide what size I needed to store all my things. :) Plus, the units are SUPER clean. 2011-06-21 18:38:35   The staff at Atkinson self storage is so friendly it is almost unbelievable. My stay at Atkinson storage was nice, gorgeous facilities, drive up units, not too busy, and very secure. I also got a great deal on a larger unit, 10 X 20, all I had to do was mention I was coming from Davis and I got the 10% discount! Very reasonable prices compared with other storage facilities. They helped me with reservations for both U-Hauls I rented and were very informative, and even had warm cookies ready on the day I reserved and vacated. Although there was an old policy of 2 weeks notice before vacating, they just recently removed this notice for everyone which resulted in an extra $70 for me. On top of that I got a $50 cleaning deposit back I forgot even paying! I wish the rest of life was this easy. I would recommend this place to everyone. —donjumpsuit

2012-09-19 16:50:55   Awesome mom and pop joint. They run it very well, as they have help, who I've also had nothing but positive experiences with. Cool dog too. Anyway, great cheap and nearby location for storage. They offer lots of discounts and stuff to students. I won't blab about what exactly they did for their sake, but they've been infinitely helpful. I couldn't have made a better choice. For security reasons, I suppose, you can get locked IN if you stay past 9pm (though if you ask, they can extend your access a few hours), although they are very helpful and will actually get out of bed to let you out, or else you can call the police (number listed on the gate) and they'll let you out. —MattCorey
