Alice M. Vosburgh

SARANAC LAKE - Alice M. Vosburgh, a resident of Saranac Lake, died Monday, July 21, at the Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh.

Mrs. Vosburgh was born in Saranac Lake on June 30, 1903, the daughter of Allen I. and Etta Otis Vosburgh. She was a graduate of Saranac Lake High School, Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts, and Columbia University. She had specialized in personnel training and labor relations before her retirement to Saranac Lake at the Dechantel Apartments.

She had been employed as the office manager for Sherwood-Hanlon Association in New York City.

Mrs. Vosburgh was a member of the National Federation of Business and Professional Club Inc., the Reviewers Club, the Saranac Lake Duplicate Bridge Club and the local Village Improvement Society.

She is survived by two nieces; Mrs. Peter LeMay of Lake Clear and Gloria Vosburgh Donati of Wilburham, Massachusetts.

Several grandnieces and nephews also survive.

Calling hours will be at the Fortune Funeral Home in Saranac Lake today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday at the Saranac Lake Presbyterian Church. Rev. John McClester of the church will officiate.

Burial will be in the Pine Ridge Cemetery.
