SARANAC LAKE - Anne M. Gedroiz, 91, of Ocean Boulevard, South Palm Beach, Fla. died Friday, June 19, 1998 at her home.
Born April 21, 1907 in Detroit, Mich., she was the daughter of Anton and Stella Gedroiz.
She had been employed as a registered nurse at the General Hospital in Saranac Lake and later as a private duty nurse in the area for many years before retiring in the 1970s. Miss Gedroiz was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America.
Survivors include one nephew, Paul Gedroiz of Williamsport, Pa.; and a niece, Jean Bennett of Duck, N.C.
She was predeceased by a brother, Dr. Anthony Gedroiz; and two sisters Stella Gedroiz and Mary Gray.
Calling hours will be held from 7 to 9 p.rn. Monday at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac lake. A Bible vigil will be held at 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Catholic Daughters, in attendance. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday at St. Bernard's Church with the Rev. Tim Soucy officiating. Interment will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery.
