SARANAC LAKE — Anna L. Hunt, 93, of Mercy Health Care Center, Tupper Lake, and formerly of 20 Church Street here died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 1989.
She was born Jan. 26, 1896 in Weston, Mass., the daughter of Jared Mann and Minnie J. (Bemis) Heard.
She had been a resident of the area since 1917. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star and was a co-founder and executive committee member of the Saranac Lake Home Bureau <http://rmc.library.cornell.edu/homeEc/5formats/homebureau.html>.
Her husband, Irving B. Hunt Sr. died in 1973.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Louise Holly of Osterville, Mass. and Mrs. Ruth Gaynor of Middletown, N.J.; a son, I.B. Hunt of Ray Brook; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
There will be no calling hours. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family, with the Rev. Robert Lowenthal, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in North Elba Cemetery in Lake Placid.
Memorial donations may be made to Mercy Health Care Center in care of the Fortune Funeral Home, which is charge of the arrangements.
