Elmer Leo Finnegan

Elmer Leo Finnegan, 67 Lake St., Saranac Lake merchant, died Monday morning at his home after a long illness.

He was born at Saranac Lake, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry H. Finnegan. He was a graduate of Saranac Lake high school. In 1933 he opened a clothing store in Main st. He married the former Miss Harriett Mirick of Saranac Lake in 1937.

Mr. Finnegan was a communicant of St. Bernard's Roman Catholic church and was a member of the Saranac Lake Curling club, the American Legion and Saranac Lake lodge, Elks.

Survivors include his parents and his widow; two daughters, Esther and Eleanor Finnegan; two sisters, Mrs. Eugene Santor of Keeseville, and Miss Vivian Finnegan of Syracuse; and a brother, Comm Henry E. Finnegan, USN, Seattle, Wash.

Services were conducted at 9 am. Wednesday in St. Bernard's church. Burial was in St. Bernard's cemetery.
