Eulalia Graves Jarvis, usually known as Mrs. Fred Jarvis, operated "housekeeping cottages" on Lake Clear from as early as 1948, and the Lake Clear Lodge from 1952. Anna Flescher stayed there in the 1950s.

Miss Eulalia Graves, daughter of Mrs. Esther Graves of 27 Rugar street, city, and Frederick Jarvis of Lake Clear, N. Y., were married at St, John's church at 9 o'clock Saturday morning. Rev. E. J. Brown, pastor, officiated at the ceremony and the nuptial mass which followed.
The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Frances Graves and the best man was Edward Maden of Saranac Lake.
Following the wedding ceremony a bridal breakfast was served at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. J. H. McGaulley, to immediate relatives and friends.
The bride is a graduate of Plattsburgh High School and the Champlain Valley hospital training school.
The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Jarvis wish them many years of happy married life.

SHORE OWNERS AT LAKE CLEAR ORGANIZE UNIT
LAKE CLEAR, Aug 13—Shore owners whose property borders on Lake Clear are in the process of forming a non-profit corporation for the purpose of improving and preserving the natural beauty and wild life of that lake.
A meeting of-interested property owners was held Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. Fred Jarvis. A steering committee consisting of John Weld, John Connelly and Mrs. Jarvis was elected to carry out further details of the corporation.
The group selected for their name, the Lake Clear Associates Incorporated, and indicated a membership of 50 was expected. A meeting for organization and incorporation will be held Aug. 30 with Mrs. Jarvis as hostess.
Hayward H. Plumadore of Saranac Lake is attorney for the group. Attending the first meeting were Carl Geiger, John Plant, Mr. Sprout, John Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. John Weld, C. S. Barnet and G. F. Connelly.

Mrs. Frederick Jarvis, who spent the winter in Plattsburgh, came home Saturday to open the Lodge and cottages for the summer season. Her sister, Mrs. Griswold, came with her.

Eulalia Jarvis
PLATTSBURGH - Mrs. Eulalia Jarvis, 90, formerly of Route 9 South, died Thursday morning, Jan. 10, 1985. at Meadowbrook Nursing Home.
She was born in Redford Sept. 2, 1894, the daughter of the late Napolean and Esther (Crawford) Graves.
Her husband, Fred Jarvis. died in 1945.
Mrs. Jarvis and her husband owned and operated The Lodge in Lake Clear for several years. She was also a graduate of Champlain Valley Nursing School and had practiced as a registered nurse as well.
Survivors include three sisters, Miss Kathleen Graves and Mrs. Frances Reardon. both of Saratoga Springs, and Sister Mary Louis of the Sisters of St. Joseph in Watertown: and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held this morning after 9 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated this morning at 11 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be in the spring in the family lot in St. Paul's Cemetery in Bloomingdale.
