SARANAC LAKE - Florance G. Haselton, 98, died Wednesday, July 12, 2006, at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake.
Born Jan. 5, 1908 in Jamaica, Long Island, she had been a resident of Saranac Lake for more than 80 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol Duclos of Rochester and Joan Stage and her husband, Jim, of Rochester; two granddaughters, Gretchen Stage of Steamboat Springs, Colo, and Tracy Zimmermann and her husband, Grant, of Somerville, Mass.; and great granddaughter, Lane Zimmermann.
She was predeceased by her husband, Earl.
There will be a graveside service Saturday, July 22.
Donations may be made in memory of Florance to the Tri-Lakes Humane Society or the Volunteer Health Association; High Peaks Hospice or the Saranac Lake Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad.
