SARANAC LAKE Francis "Bob" Rascoe, 72, died Saturday, Jan. 29, at the General Hospital of Saranac Lake.

He was born May 21, 1910, in Goldsmith, the son of Moses and Edith (Farewell) Rascoe and had been a lifelong resident of Saranac Lake, making his home at 12 Jenkins Street.

He had been employed for more than 35 years as a radio and television technician for Munn's Electric in Saranac Lake and later for Ortloff TV.

He is survived by his wife, the former, Jennie M. Agresta of Saranac Lake; two sons, Francis of Harvard, Mass., and Gerald of Liverpool; a daughter. Mrs. Everett (Mary) Spear of Keeseville; two brothers, Gordon of Saranac Lake and Leonard of Mooers; two sisters. Mrs. Florence Bowen and Viola Rascoe, both of Saranac Lake: eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.. today at the Keough and Son Funeral Home and include at Bible vigil at 7:30.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:15 a.m.. tomorrow at St. Bernard's Church.

Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery in May.

Memorial donations may be made to the Saranac Lake Rescue Squad, in care of the Keough and Son Funeral Home.
