George Clark
SARANAC LAKE—George Clark, a life-long resident of this village, died early Monday morning at Saranac Lake General Hospital.
He made his home at 23 Bloomingdale Avenue. He had been produce manager at the A and P for 35 years, retiring on Sept. 5, 1970.
He was born in Saranac Lake on Sept. 4, 1905, the son of Herbert K. Clark and Mary Jane Dowdle.
He was married to the former Eleanore M. Morrison who died Mar. 13, 1975.
He is survived by one son Thomas, a daughter, Cathleen Mose and three brothers; James and Herbert, all of Saranac Lake, Francis of Lake Placid; two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Montville of Westport, Mrs. Irene Dimick of Buffalo, one granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Keough and Sons Memorial Chapel on Tuesday afternoon arid evening where there will be a Bible Vigil at 7:30 Tuesday evening.
There will be a Mass of the Resurrection Wednesday at 11:15 a.m. at St. Bernard's Church, interment will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery.
