George S. Moulton was the manager for the Hotel Ampersand and post-master of the Ampersand Post Office.

George S. Moulton, for the past six years manager of the Hotel Ampersand, at Saranac Lake, and one of the best known hotel men in the country, was found dead in bed at the Grand Union Hotel, New York city, on Sunday Feb. 3. Mr. Moulton had committed suicide by shooting having fired four shots into his breast and one into his temple.
