Reminiscences shared during a visit to the Saranac Laboratory Museum on June 4, 2012.

Eileen Fanning graduated from Saranac Lake High School in 1963. 1 She worked at the Saranac Laboratory in the spring of 1964 through 1965 at least. She had one year of college and decided that she wanted to start working, and got the job as a lab technician at the laboratory. She worked with Frank Credon and James Whitelaw, who was superintendent of Maintenance. She worked with Tony Delahant and Dr. John Schmidt and Tommy Rooney. She said of Tommy Rooney, "I can still see him today with his quick step and his bow tie." They were all TB survivors. She also worked with Dr. Leonard Bristol and Dr. Boren.
