Isaac Skiff
SARANAC LAKE - Isaac W. Skiff of Onchiota died Monday afternoon, June 2. He had been a life-long resident of the area and was a caretaker for private camps before his retirement.
Mr. Skiff was born in Onchiota on June 24, 1897, the son of William and Myra Williams Skiff.
He is survived by his wife, the former Gladys Lamore Skiff of Onchiota; one daughter, Mrs. Ella McGowan of Dolgeville; one brother, Alfred Skiff of Saranac Lake; and many nieces and nephews.
He will repose at the Keough and Son Memorial Chapel with calling hours from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday.
The funeral service will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Keough and Son Memorial Chapel with Reverend Richard Chatterton, pastor of the Saranac Lake Methodist Church officiating.
Interment will be in Merrillsville Cemetery.
