Fair Store Proprietor Isadore Feinberg Dies
Isadore Feinberg, proprietor of the Fair Store in Saranac Lake for 50 years, died suddenly this morning about 7 o'clock shortly after his arrival at the Saranac Lake General Hospital.
Mr. Feinberg was born in Russia, July 15, 1881, the son of Max and Gertrude Feinberg. He was a member of the Jewish Community Center.
He is survived by his wife, the former Fannie Newman and two daughters, Miss Leonora Feinberg of Saranac Lake and Mrs. Herbert Dreyfus of Tenafly, N.J. He is also survived by a grandson. Ronald Dreyfus, two brothers, Harry, of Saranac Lake and Kope, of Syracuse and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Feinberg will repose at the Fortune Funeral Home until 3:30 p.m. tomorrow when there will be a service conducted by the Rabbi Henry Guttmann of Lake Placid.
Interment will be in the Jewish section of Pine Ridge Cemetery.
