James E. Lagree

SARANAC LAKE - James E. Lagree, 54, of Union Falls, N.Y., died Wednesday, May 28, 1997 at his home.

Born on April 10, 1943 in Rochester, he was the son of Ernest T. and Mabel (Bomyea) Lagree.

Mr. Lagree was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons in Rochester and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing.

Mr. Lagree was employed as an auto mechanic and body and fender man for many years in Rochester and Saranac Lake until he became disabled in 1994.

Survivors include: two daughter Nancyann Young of West Bloomfield, N.Y. and Michelle DiSano of Rochester; four brothers, Richard of Palmyra, N.Y., Robert of Spencerport; Lawrence of Augusta, Ga., and Charles of Tupper Lake; one sister, Mary Ann Corter of Sotus, N.Y.; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. The Rev. Robert Clark, pastor of the Nazarene Church in Vermontville, will be officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Nature Conservancy or the Disabled American Veterans in care of the fucneral home.
