Katherine C. Lynch cured in Saranac Lake starting in 1915. After her cure, she operated a cure cottage at 88 Riverside Drive until 1960, when she retired.

SARANAC LAKE -Katherine C. Lynch, 84 died Friday at Uihlein Mercy Center in Lake Placid.

Miss Lynch was born in Naugatuck, Conn., a daughter of Jeremiah and Katharine Dineen Lynch. She was graduated in 1913 from Teachers College of Columbia University where she had specialized in dietetics. She came to Trudeau Sanatorium in Saranac Lake for her health in 1915. After recovering her health, she attended the Trudeau School of Nursing and then owned and operated a nursing home for tubercular patients for 27[?] years. She retired in 1960.

A cousin, Mrs. Margaret McCarthy of Brockton, Mass., survives.

A Bible Vigil was held at the Keough and Son Memorial Chapels on Sunday evening. A Mass of the Resurrection was offered at 11:15 a.m. today at St. Bernard's Church. Burial will be In Notre Dame Cemetery in Montreal.
