Leon E. Cheeseman
Leon E. Cheeseman of 91 Broadway, Saranac Lake, died at 1:15 this morning at Saranac Lake General Hospital where he had been a patient since Sunday.
Mr. Cheeseman was born in Theresa on March 31, 1881. He came to Saranac Lake in 1900 and operated Cheeseman's Sport Shop until 1957.
One son, Ralph J. Cheeseman of Palm Springs, Calif., survives. Also surviving are a granddaughter, Mrs. Warren Parker, and two great-grandchildren of Watertown.
Friends may call at the Fortune Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
