LILIAN A. RYAN, LONG ILL, DIES

Miss Lilian Anne Ryan died at 8:30 this morning in an Ogdensburg hospital, following an illness of nearly one year.

Her body will repose at the Keough Memorial Chapel. Funeral arrangements are incomplete this time.

Miss Ryan was born on September 8, 1906, in Saranac Lake, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Patrick H. Ryan.

She was graduated from the Saranac Lake High School and the College of New Rochelle and for several years taught school in the local school system.

During World War II she served with the USO in Fall River, Mass. Oceanside, Calif. For three years she taught private school in Capasco, Mexico, before returning to this village, where she was employed by The Enterprise and the Saranac Lake Chamber Commerce.

Survivors include a brother, Louis H. Ryan, of Saranac Lake, and two nieces, Mrs. Arthur Waddle, of Indianapolis, Ind., and Miss Barbara Ryan, student at Allbany State Teachers College.
