The Conference referred for later action at its 131st annual meeting a proposal by the Rev. Lionel R. Driscoll of Saranac Lake, N.Y., that the Conference purchase the former Trudeau Sanitorium at Saranac Lake as a possible site for a home for the aged.

DR. LIONEL R. DRISCOLL
SARANAC LAKE - The Rev. Dr. Lionel R. Driscoll will preach at the 8:30 and 10:00a.m. services at the local Methodist Church. This is Dr. Driscoll's first return to the local pulpit since his pastorate here in 1957-64. The pastor, the Rev. Eric R. King, will lead the service and officiate at the baptismal rite for John Wallace, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Gay.
Dr. Driscoll's sermon topic will be, "The Unknown Christ."
