Myron J. Pomeroy was the pharmacist at the Trudeau sanatorium for twenty years. He lived at 26 Baker Street.

FATHER OF PLACID RESIDENT DIES THURSDAY

Myron J. Pomeroy of Saranac Lake died last Thursday after an illness of only 24 hours.

Stricken Wednesday with a heart ailment, Mr. Pomeroy was taken at once to the Ludington infirmary at Trudeau sanatorium, where for the past 20 years he has acted in the capacity of pharmacist for the institution.

The deceased has been prominent in social and business affairs of the community. He was treasurer of the Saranac Lake Association of Private Sanatoria, and active in scouting interests in the village. A curler of considerable skill, he belonged to the Saranac Lake Curling club. Mr. Pomeroy was a member of the Presbyterian church.

Immediate survivors are his widow, and two children, Miss Frances Pomeroy, and Louis Pomeroy, assistant scout executive, Saranac Lake district Boy Scouts. Miss Pomeroy is publicity director at Lake Placid club.
