Richard H. McIntyre was a judge. He was the Vice President of the Adirondack National Bank at its founding in 1897. And he served as treasurer of the Whiteface Mountain Lodge in 1891.

R. H. MCINTYRE, of Harrietstown, writes to the chairman of the Republican county committee, saying that he was not aware the day of the convention that be had been made a member of the committee and that he is compelled to decline to serve because he will not be in a position this fall to give the matter any attention, "and this is a time when everything honorable must be done to carry the State for the Republican ticket." Spoken like a true, earnest Republican! The committee will regret that it is not to enjoy the benefit of Mr. MCINTYRE'S counsel and aid, but it will in due time fill the vacancy by selecting some other energetic worker in Harrietstown. Mr. MCINTYRE is at present in New York city, and is likely to be detained there for several weeks.

At Saranac Lake on Monday, in an action against SOLOMON BARCOMBE, of Brandon, before Justice R. H. MCINTYRE, WILLIAM ROCKEFELLER obtained a judgment against BARCOMBE of $205, for fishing on his private park without permission. As a body execution can be issued on this judgment, it maybe that this man will find fishing on private property, without consent, quite annoying.

RICHARD H MCINTYRE, former Postmaster of Saranac Lake, N. Y., died yesterday at the home of his son, Richard H. McIntyre, 5 Kenmore Place, Flatbush, aged 68 years
On page 745 in the St. Armand section of biographies of History of Essex County appears the following:
"McIntyre, R. H., was born in Clinton county in 1846, and came to this country in 1870; is a hardware merchant; is now on his second term of justice of the peace. His wife was Emma C. Kendall, born in this county in 1856. They were married in 1878. They have two children: A. P. and H. K. McIntyre."
