Last Rites Monday At Holy Name Church For Miss Rose Lucy
Funeral rites were held at 9 a. m. Monday at Holy Name Church for Miss Rose Helen Lucy, 69, who died about midnight Friday at St. Lawrence State Hospital in Ogdensburg.
She had been confined to the hospital since she suffered a hip fracture in a fall four years ago. Burial was in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery at Elmira.
Born at Big Flats in Chemung county, Miss Lucy worked as a nurse most of her life in the Saranac Lake and Lake Placid area.
The only survivor is a niece Mrs. Ralph Russell of this village, at whose home she had been a frequent visitor.
