MRS. TREMBLE DIES SUDDENLY
Mrs. Fred T. Tremble, of 9 St. Bernard Street, died at 9:45 this morning in the Saranac Lake General Hospital, where she was admitted last night after suffering a stroke.
Her body will repose at the Fortune Funeral Chapel, 40 Church street. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
Mrs. Tremble was the former Rogene Vosburgh, born on April 11, 1880 in Harrietstown, the daughter of Isaiah and Alice Vosburgh.
She moved to Saranac Lake with her parents in 1895 and on October 5, 1904, was married in this village to Fred T. Tremble. Rev. Walter Larom officiated at the rites that took place in the Church of St. Luke the Beloved Physician.
The couple had no children. Besides her husband, Mrs. Tremble is survived by a niece, Miss Alice Vosburgh, of New York City, two great-nieces, Miss Rogene Vosburgh and Miss Gloria Vosburgh, of Saranac Lake, and a niece, Mrs. Maurice Vosburgh, also of this village. There are also a niece, Miss Beulah Goff Tremble, and a nephew, H. Beaman Tremble, who reside in Syracuse with their mother, Mrs. Henry B. Tremble.
Mr. Tremble was formerly employed at the Adirondack National Bank and Trust Co.; a post he held for 25 years. He more recently was associated with Paul Smith's Electric Light and Power Company. He also served as a director on the board of the Adirondack National Bank.
